Xsander Moisenko: A Life Rooted in Ward 4

Ward 4 isn’t just a district I represent; it is the place where I was born and raised. Born at Metropolitan Hospital and shaped by our local schools, I have seen firsthand the potential—and the challenges—of our community. My journey is one of hard work, discipline, and a deep-seated commitment to the people of this ward. I am running for Council to ensure that every neighbor has the same opportunities for success that Ward 4 has given me.

A Foundation of Grit and Integrity

My work ethic was forged on the field and in the classroom. From my time as a Fullback and Linebacker at Kennedy Collegiate, where I also competed on the wrestling team, I learned the value of teamwork, resilience, and standing your ground. As an Honour Roll student, I balanced the intensity of varsity sports with academic rigor, graduating with honours.

Today, I continue that pursuit of excellence as a student at the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business, where I maintain a near 4.0 GPA. My academic path is focused on business and law, providing me with the analytical tools necessary to tackle complex municipal policies and ensure our tax dollars are managed with absolute precision.

The Discipline to Deliver

Between my studies, I train in MMA at MTC Windsor and work as a TPT at the Chrysler Canada plant at Douillard and Tecumseh. Working on the line has given me a direct, daily connection to the heartbeat of our local economy and the concerns of working families. Whether I am training in the gym or working a shift at the plant, I apply the same philosophy: you show up, you put in the work, and you finish the job.

My Vision for Ward 4

My experience as a lifelong resident, a student, and a worker has defined my platform:

• Economic Opportunity: I understand the struggles of the modern worker. I will fight for policies that protect local jobs, support our manufacturing sector, and foster an environment where our youth can build a future right here in Ward 4.

• A Standard of Excellence: With a background in business and a future in law, I will bring a new level of fiscal oversight to the Council. I believe in transparency, evidence-based decision-making, and holding our city government to the same high standards I demand of myself.

• Community Safety & Growth: My athletic and training background has taught me the importance of discipline and proactivity. I am committed to addressing public safety through robust, community-led initiatives that prioritize both prevention and support.

• Accessible Leadership: I am a neighbor first and a candidate second. I will continue to be a visible, active presence in our community—not just during election season, but every day.
