Restoring Accountability: A Commitment to Taxpayers

Every working person understands the basic rules of life. You work hard, you honor your commitments, and you pay your way. If you fail at your job, you face consequences. If you break your word, trust is shattered.

Except in government.

For decades, the political class has operated under an entirely different set of rules.

Their formula is simple, predictable, and disastrous. they demand more taxes, deliver fewer basic services, and preside over a steady collapse in the quality of life for ordinary families.

People are exhausted. They are tired of watching their hard-earned money vanish into an unaccountable administrative bureaucracy while streets grow less safe, public order breaks down, and essential infrastructure crumbles.

I entered this arena because the current system is broken. It is time to call it what it is, a failure of leadership and and refusal of accountability.

Cycle of Deceit and Dodging

Talk to any voter at their front door, and you hear the exact same grievances about the political establishment:

  • Endless tax hikes paired with diminishing returns.

  • Politicians who lie shamelessly on the campaign trail, only to pivot the moment they secure office.

  • Press conferences and council meetings filled with obfuscation, talking points, and carefully rehearsed dodges instead of straight answers.

  • Zero personal responsibility when programs/policy produce failure.

When politicians campaign, they promise fiscal discipline, transparency, and safer neighborhoods. Once in power, they quickly insulate themselves from the public. They prioritize self-serving pet projects and protected bureaucratic interests over the core duties of governance.

When things go wrong, they do not fix the problem. They commission another expensive report, point fingers at other levels of government, or invent new language to explain away decline (spin). I intend to confront these issues and create change.

Demanding Results, Not Platitudes

This cycle ends only when citizens refuse to tolerate it.

Myself, and a rising generation of leaders represent a fundamental break from the complacent politics of the past. We are not interested in polite excuses, photo ops, or managing decline. We do not accept the lie that taxpayers must continuously settle for less while paying more.

True representation means:

  1. Unflinching Accountability: Public servants must answer directly to the people they represent. No dodging straightforward questions. No hiding behind procedural smoke and mirrors.

  2. Respect for Fundamental Rights: Government exists to protect individual freedoms, public order, and the rights of citizens, not to act as managerial rulers over citizens lives.

Core Priorities First: Prioritize safe streets, clean public areas, efficient and safe public transportation, law enforcement, and strict financial discipline. Tax dollars should benefit the families who earn them, rather than funding administrative growth or continual subsidies for ineffective initiatives.

A New Standard

Change does not come from waiting for career politicians to develop a conscience. It comes from electing representatives who view office as a temporary public duty rather than a permanent entitlement.

I, Xsander Moisenko, stand for a simple principle: government works for the taxpayer, full stop. The era of taking more, delivering less, and hiding from consequences is over. It is time to bring real spine, direct answers, and uncompromised accountability back to public service.
