Our community is at a crossroads. For too long, Ward 4 has been treated as a line item in a budget rather than a neighborhood of people. We’ve seen enough “visionary” promises that never hit the pavement. It’s time for a different approach—one rooted in transparency, genuine accessibility, and the reality of the daily lives of our residents.

I’m Xsander Moisenko, and I’m running because we don’t need more politicians. We need someone who actually shows up.

My Approach: Showing Up, Not Just Showing Off

Leadership isn’t about standing at a podium or crafting perfectly polished “vision statements.” It’s about being present where the problems actually live.

• Transparency First: If a decision is being made, the community should know why. I’m committed to clear, honest communication about where our tax dollars are going and why decisions are made.

• Accessibility: You shouldn’t need an appointment to be heard. My door—and my phone line—are open. If you see a problem in your neighborhood, I want to hear it directly from you, not through a filtered report.

• Community-Driven Action: I believe the best ideas don’t come from City Hall; they come from the residents who live here. My role is to listen, advocate, and get the red tape out of the way so we can solve problems together.

We face tangible challenges that require common-sense solutions, not empty rhetoric:

• Infrastructure That Works: We’re tired of the patchwork fixes. I’m focused on long-term, sustainable infrastructure maintenance—fixing the roads, clearing the sidewalks, and ensuring our basic services are reliable.

• Safety Through Connection: Safety isn’t just about policing; it’s about a community that looks out for one another. I believe in fostering a neighborhood environment where people feel safe and connected, supported by responsive and accountable local services.

• Supporting Local, Not Just Corporate: Our local entrepreneurs are the lifeblood of Ward 4. My goal is to reduce the bureaucratic hurdles that make it harder for our small businesses to thrive, ensuring that our local economy stays local.

Why This Matters Now

This isn’t about me; it’s about restoring the balance of power to the people of Ward 4. I am not interested in climbing a political ladder—I am interested in doing the work that

my neighbors have been asking for but rarely receive.

We have a vibrant community full of potential, but that potential is being stifled by a lack of real, honest, and accessible representation. We don’t need a “big vision” that ignores our daily reality. We need a partner who will roll up their sleeves and advocate for the things that actually make life better for us all.
